He was predeceased by: his stepfather Earl Carson; and his siblings, Jane Bacon and Charles E. Futch. He is survived by: his wife Gail Hardigree Futch; his children, Jamie Dykes (Jason) of Pooler, Allison Bowen (Anthony) of Pooler, Georgia and Brian Green (Deirdre) of Statesboro, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dykes, Trey Bowen and Ashton Bowen of Pooler, Georgia; and his siblings, Alvin Futch (Gwen) of Pembroke, Georgia, Helen Dickerson of Bulloch County, Janet DuBois (Gary) of Winston Salem, Brenda Farmer (Chuck) of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Wanda Kangeter (Thomas) of Thunderbolt, Georgia, Charlene Butler (Randall) of Pembroke and Vicki Hughes (Pat) of Pembroke, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
