He is survived by: his mother Rachel Mims Dampier; his wife Serena Dampier; his children, David Dampier, Jr. (Allison), Jordan Dampier (Rebekah), Lexis Dampier (Tyler Hawkins) and Dillon Dampier; his grandchildren, Laken, Harper and Hattie; and his siblings, Donnie Dampier (Beverly), Hugh Dampier and Deneen Patrick (Joe). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
