She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Brown and Eddie Brown; her husband Jack Snelling; her sisters, Laura (Ben Simmons), Rose, Winman DeLoach and Jean (George Scott); her siblings-in-law, Ruth Snelling Linley (Barney) and Billy Snelling; and her son-in-law Frank Alsop.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Alsop and Ruth; her son-in-law Curtis Illies; her son John; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Snelling; her granddaughter Heather (Patrick Brooks); and her great grandchildren, Carter Brooks and Cora Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Grace United Methodist Church 6412 Waters Ave. Savannah, GA 31406, these donations will be used to fund a well in Africa thru Bobby Gale Ministries in memory of Dorothy and Jack Snelling.
