It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Lou Hardy of Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie Sheppard and Booker T. Riley. She is survived by: her children, Bernice Miller (Frank), Patricia Farmer, Brenda Betterson (George), Michelle Sutton, Sharon Cooper, DeAndre Glover and Ronald Hardy (Erica); her brother Jonas Sheppard; and her uncle Emmett Sheppard. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren (2 deceased), thirty four great grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a special niece and two nephews.
