He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Hooks; his children, Dr. Milton Mathis, Deidre Mathis and Paul Mathis (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Christian Mathis, Chance Mathis, Alexander Mathis, Brianna Mathis and Arianna Mathis; and his friend Yvonne Mathis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
