It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine Estill (Savannah, Georgia), born in Guyton, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul M. Stanley and Ethel Hurst Stanley; her husband George Estill; and her daughter Kathryn Wheeler. She is survived by: her children, Knowles Shaw Hamrick, III, Karen Cowart of Savannah and Donna Brantley of Savannah; and her grandchildren, Jeff Vanscooter, Laura Palmer, Angela Tidwell, Leslie Wheeler, Richard Slack, Jr., Colonel William Slack, Sr., Andrew Cowart and Sean Lockwood. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
