She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mixon and Ava Greenway Mixon; her husband James Julian Butler, Sr.; her son James Julian "Corky" Butler, Jr.; and her grandson Carey Carter Zipperer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen (Grover Zipperer) and Rita Butler (Billy Oldfield); and her grandchildren, Cleve Zipperer (Tina), Corbin Zipperer (Ami), Chris Zipperer (Meredith), Jason Butler (Lauren), Jeff Butler and Heidi O'Connor (Tony). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
