It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Bowman Parker of Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father James McPherson; her husband John Lowell Parker (Jack); her father Jack; her son Gary Lowell Parker; her siblings, Alma B. Sandefur, Edna B. Arnsdorff, Katherine B. Floyd, James Bowman and Eugene Bowman; her daughter Ronda Parker Johnson (Robert H. Johnson, Jr.); her grandchildren, Kevin Lowell Johnson and Kristi Elizabeth Johnson (Dana Wade Johnson); and her great grandchildren, Wade Parker Johnson and Lucy Elizabeth Johnson. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers any memorial donations be made to First Presbyterian Church, 520 East Washington Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405.
