He was predeceased by: his parents, John N. Armstrong and Ruth M. Armstrong of Clarks Summit, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Carter Armstrong of Savannah; his sister Lindsay Armstrong McCoy of Largo, Florida; his brothers-in-law, Hugh Carter (Betty) of Brunswick, Billy Carter and Curtis Carter of Lyons, Georgia.; his close friends, Judy, Alan Brooks and Raymond Cobb; and also Foundation. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
