He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sue Jessie McIntyre; his wife Eloise B. Mathis; and his children, John Mathis (Linda), Gregory Mathis, Stanley Mathis, Tony Mathis (Kinisha), Wanda Stewart of Savannah, Tammy Demery of Savannah and Emeka Henderson (Shawn) of Raleigh, NC. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
