He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Waters and Joyce Weitman Dasher; his stepfather Thurmon Dasher; his son Kyle Waters; his siblings, Robert Dale Dasher and Connie Doolittle; and his nephew Shawn Waters.

He is survived by : his daughter Sarah Waters of Savannah, Georgia; and his brothers, Mark Dasher (Christine) of Reidsville and Russell Terry Waters (Pam) of Glennville.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Battle Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (323 Cranford Ln, Reidsville, GA 30453).
