It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Smalls Sr. (Savannah, Georgia), who passed away on August 13, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grant and Agnes Smalls; his siblings, Mary-Jane Smalls, Thomas Smalls and Rebecca Smalls; his daughter Phaedra Smalls; and his son-in-law McKinley Habersham (Von).
He is survived by: his son Leon Smalls, Sr.; his siblings, Georgia Brunson, Ruther DeWitt (Kitty), John Smalls and Samuel Smalls; his grandson Leon; and his significant other Barbara Jean Robinson. He is also survived by his wife of 57 years along with their children and grandchildren, great grandchildren.
