He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Mae Connell and Lonnie Connell; and his brother Bernard Connell (Sandra Lee Roundtree). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Roundtree; his children, Christina Smith (Paul), Kristy Canas (Jason) and Gary Connell; and his grandchildren, Logan Arnsdorff and Abigail Canas. He is also survived by cousins who seemed more like brothers and sisters.
