He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Rice (Michael) and Cynthia Howard (John); his grandchildren, Morgan Ramsey (Amber), Dr. Jason Howard (Summer), Justin, Jared Howard, Dr. Julia Howard (Johnny) and John C. Howard, III; his sisters, Mary Smith and Shirley Sienkiewicz; and his great grandchildren, Couper, Cameron, Kinnett, Quincy, Sadie, Iyla and Addison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
