It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Lee Bacon (Savannah, Georgia), born in Pembroke, Georgia, who passed away on August 22, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Bacon; her children, Charlie Bacon, Arnold Bacon and Linda Diane Adams; and also Thomas Bacon.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Bacon (Christina) of Columbia, SC, Joe Bacon of Savannah, Kenny Bacon (Barbara) of Pembroke, Michael Bacon (Judy) of Pembroke, Miriam Smith (Joe) of Claxton, Jewel Dean Coley of Augusta, Brenda May (Michael) of Lady Lake, FL and Patricia "Sissy" Blair (Oren) of Black Creek. She is also survived by 67 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
