She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clanton and Sinie Waters Blocker; her husband Ira Vondes Purvis; and her siblings, Monroe Blocker, Eula DeLoach, Olan Blocker, Ola DeLoach, Ida Pearl Todd, Earl Blocker and Edna Lanier.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Leigh, Andrew, Allison and Ben. She is also survived by friend and caregiver for the last 8 years, friends.
