She was loved and cherished by many people including: her stepchildren, Mattie Wilson and Bernard Wilson; her siblings, Lane H. Newkirk and Brenda Newkirk-Sheppard; her siblings-in-law, Elnora G. Young, Jenny Newkirk and Alfred Sheppard; and her niece Loretta Young.
