It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rabun Lamar Jeffers of Savannah, Georgia, born in Sylvania, Georgia, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Jeffers and Rabun Jeffers; his sister Jacqueline Cooper; his siblings-in-law, Audrey Lynn, Frances Green and Earl Lynn; and his nephew Steve Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Polly; his children, Jerry Jeffers and Sally Burge (David); his grandchildren, Hayley Jeffers Hamilton (Ryan), Abby Jeffers, James Burge and William Burge; his great grandchild Amelia Hope Hamilton; and his brother-in-law Jack Green. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial service due to COVID-19 and the interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery.
