It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Faye Clark Sheppard of Savannah, Georgia, born in Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Clark and Freddie Thompson Clark; her husband William Patrick Sheppard; and her siblings, Ronald, Myrtle, Rowland and Raye Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Electra Smith (Michael), Tony Lee (Carla), Billy Sheppard, Jimmy Sheppard (Mary), Liz Fruitticher (Dale), Kenneth Sheppard, Peggy Bushnaq (Adell), Theresa Conners, Tim Sheppard and Tammy Fischer (Nash); and her sisters, Bessie and Sarah Clark. She is also survived by twenty eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
