It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Moore of Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Gail Freeman, Willie Floyd, Roscoe Floyd, Prentis Floyd (Fannie), Gary Floyd and Ivan Moore; her sisters, Lois Pigler Jenkins and Vivian Pigler; her sister-in-law Mariul Pigler; her aunt Arabell Jordan; her goddaughter Bridgett White Brady; her daughter Patricia Latson; and her sister Queenie Bing. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
