She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald R. Kamppi; her parents, Felix Schexnayder and Ada Stokes Schexnayder; her grandson Korey A. Kamppi; and her half-siblings, Wally Love, Irvin Love and Ann Schexnayder.

She is survived by: her children, Carl A. Kamppi (Kathryn O.), Richard M. Kamppi, Kenneth R. Kamppi, Sharon Love and Angie Love; her grandsons, Kyle Kamppi (Lacy) and Ronald R. Kamppi, II; her great grandchildren, Harper and Hattie Kamppi; and her niece Amanda Love.
