He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester Forney Sr. and Mary Cordray. He is survived by: his wife Jerry Forney of Blairsville; his sons, Steve Forney of Savannah, GA. and David (Marci Forney); his grandchildren, Christian (Karlee Forney) of Blairsville and Elizabeth (Derek Warner) of Lawrenceville, GA.; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Sutton and Lily.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's foundation in Bill's memory.
