It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Nelson Searcy (Savannah, Georgia), born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hartsfield Searcy and Anna Pidcock Searcy; and his brother John Frank Searcy of Thomasville. He is survived by: his wife Camille Heery Searcy; his daughter Amelia Searcy Harper; his son-in-law John Patrick Harper III of Savannah; his brothers, Floyd Searcy of Cairo, Georgia Searcy and Ashburn Searcy of Atlanta; his sister-in-law Myrtle Wise Heery; and his nephew Jamie Emerson-Heery of Petaluma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
