She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Marsh and Lucy Marsh; her husband Matthew L. West; and her sisters, Ann Lawson and Jane Baker (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Mickell West (Nancy), Donald "Donny" West (Kathy) and Willette W. Jordan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
