He was predeceased by: his parents, Scuff Lightsey and Cleo Wimpey Lightsey; his brother Larry Lightsey; and his great grandchildren, Madison and Tanner Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Odean Bennett Lightsey of Screven; and his children, Pam Paradice (Don) of Vidalia, Shay Roland (Gene) of Jesup, Lee "Stump" Lightsey (Becky) of Baxley, Sharon Mack (Eric) of Collins, Billy Davis of Lyons and Janet Royal (John) of Screven. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
