He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Brant and Selma Brant; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Lib" Steed, Roberta "Bert" Williams, David Brant and Alvin Brant.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Hutto Brant of Screven; his children, Dawn Brant-Fennell (Lane) of Jennings, Dana Brant-Templeton (Tony) of Rincon and David Brant (Missy) of Jesup; his grandsons, Lee Brant, Holden Leo Brant, Anthony and Jesse Templeton; and his siblings, Peggy Cannon of Guyton, Lannie Brant (Janice) of White Oak and Billy Brant (Lucille) of Kingsland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
