She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Jefferson and Willie Mae Jefferson; and her brother Larry Boochee. She is survived by: her daughters, Erin Denise Steele and Ereca Danielle Steele (Eric); and her sisters, Eddie Ruth Stephens (Michael) and Beverly Steed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
