She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence Cleveland and Dovie Parker Cleveland; her husband William "Bill" C. Smith; and her son William "Skipper" Smith. She is survived by: her children, Dodie Hamrick, Debbie James (William "Billy") and Nerine Barnette (James "Jim"); her grandsons, James Hamrick (Lauren), William "Chase" Hamrick and William "Clay" Brooke James; and her great grandchild Halle Hamrick. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
