She was predeceased by : her son Jason F. Mason; her parents, Wilma Jean Van Dyke and Jason C. "Dick" Van Dyke; her siblings, Jewell Dean Corley and Marshall Wayne Breeden; and her nephew Kenneth E. Jennings.

She is survived by : her significant other Michael Villyard; her sister Tammy Smith of Knoxville, TN; her nieces, Angie Best (Tom) of Maryville, TN, Melanie King (Travis) of Maryville, TN, Vandy Fowler of Albany, GA and Kayla Taylor (Brett) of Knoxville, TN; and her grandchildren, Tommy Best (Katie), Trevor King, Taylor King, Jason "Trey" King, Tanna King, Anslee Fowler, Caleb Fowler, Luke Taylor, Nora Best and Kayson Paulk.
