He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Oden and Sarah Oden; and his siblings, Mary Ann Wegener, Mable Jarvoe, Thelma Estelle, Susan Silninger and Thomas Oden.
He is survived by: his significant other Allen Newman; and his siblings, Steve Oden and Charlotte Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
