He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Adkins and Maxine Elam Adkins; and his wife Gladys Gayle Bowen. He is survived by: his children, Jeri Drake (John), Robert S. Adkins and Angel Cox; and his grandchildren, Adam, William, Jessica, Anna, Brandy, Craig and Cody. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
