She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Woodson "Woody" Snipes and Virginia Ella Dawson Snipes; her sons, Richard Paul Meier and Charles John "Chuck" Meier; and her sister Claudine Slay.
She is survived by: her husband John C. "Jack" Meier of Shiloh, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
