It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Tyler Melvin of Smithville, Georgia, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David E. Melvin and Agnes I. Webb Melvin Dennard; his son Toby Melvin; and his sister Carolyn Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne G. "Von" Melvin; his children, Terri English (Joe), Tyler Melvin (Paula), Lane Wiggins (Lisa) and Hal Wiggins (Jackie); and his brother Jim Melvin (Kay). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, burial services will be private.
