It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Nadine Townsend of Smyrna, Georgia, who passed away on June 18, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley R. Townsend; her parents, E. G. Dye and Bertha Dye; her brother William; her sister-in-law Carolyn Dye; and her grandson Britton Townsend.

She is survived by: her sons, Chip Townsend (Laura) and Greg Townsend; her grandchildren, Carla Nelson (Michael) and Stephen Townsend (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Avery Grace Nelson and Charlotte Anne Townsend. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
