He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Hackett; and his grandson Daniel Hackett. He is survived by: his children, Harry Hackett, Jr., Ken Hackett, Michael Hackett and Patty Hackett; and his grandchildren, Christy, Kenny and Joseph. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Smyrna (2950 King St SE, Smyrna, GA 30080).

“So sorry to hear that Harry has passed away. We lived around the corner from Harry, Pat and Apollo in Smyrna and always loved to stop for a chat on their front porch while our dogs had a run around in the front yard. Seeing Harry and Apollo out for a walk (with Harry on his scooter) always added some fun to our walks and our dog always went straight to him knowing he would give her a treat (or two!) Both Harry and Pat loved to share stories of their kids and family times. They are all missed.”
