He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pitman; his mother Barbara Jean Brooks of Marietta, Georgia; and his siblings, Howard R. Pitman, Jr. of Rome, Georgia, Melissa Crawford of Seymour and Tami Fill of Marietta, Georgia.
