It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Long Holland of Snellville, Georgia, born in Edison, Georgia, who passed away on June 11, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lafleur Long and Carrie Long; her stepmother Dorothy Long; her brother Hiram; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Long, Josh Barrow and Charles Thornhill (Ellis Holland).
She is survived by: her sister Sue Long Barrow (Becky); her niece Becky Barrow Almand (Chuck) of Snellville; her great-nieces, Caroline Almand of Lawrenceville, Jennifer Butzen (Nathan) of Alpharetta and Amy Buchanan (Ben) of Marvin, NC; her siblings, Jane Thornhill, John Long (Joellen), Carl Long (Susan) and Stanley Long; her aunt Mary Nelms; and her caregivers, Emma Cook, Carmen Sam, Maame De-Man Amuzu, Tonja Gray and Lornette Chuck. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Louise's memory may be made to the American Red Cross.
