He was predeceased by : his father William Tillman Norris Sr.; his wife Gloria Beth Norris; and his child Tillman Daniel Norris. He is survived by : his daughter Mary Beth Hinesley; his son-in-law David Hinesly; his granddaughters, Heather Dodson (Kelby Dodson) and Courtney Williams (Kyle Williams); and his great grandchildren, Sophie Dodson and Brooks Dodson.

In Lieu of flowers, he would have wanted donations to go to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
