He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Holt and Grace Holt; his wife Jewell Miranda Holt; his siblings, Frank, Harold, Billy, Doug, Dennis and Annette Holt; his daughter Delores Vandeford; and his great grandchild Everton Holt Salers.

He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa Rice (John) of Covington, GA, Carol Holt and Patricia Lester (Justin) of Grayson, GA.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
