He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Anderson and Ruth Williams Anderson. He is survived by : his wife Mary Evelyn Talley Anderson; and his children, Cynthia Edmond of New Jersey, Tonya Mitchell (Javari) of Stockbridge, Felicia Garrett (Marcus) of Social Circle, Georgia, Samuel Anderson, Jr. of Decatur, Antwan Anderson of Georgia and Solomon Anderson (Wanda) of Estelle, Georgia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
