He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Stewart and Mary Luker Stewart; his wife Ruth Stewart; his son-in-law George Lore; and his siblings, Geniva Stewart and Lewis Stewart.

He is survived by : his son Jack; his daughter-in-law Connie Stewart; his daughter Brenda; his son-in-law Robert Barfield; his daughter Cathy Lore; and his grandchildren, Sandy (Chris), Beau, Kevin (Suzanne), Shane (Lanita) and Travis.
