She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Mark Phillips and Willie Mae Smith Phillips; her husbands, Gerald Thomas Wingard and Daniel "Boochy" Lindsay; her sons, Gerald Thomas Wingard Jr. and Lance Lindsay; and her siblings, Kenneth Phillips, D. F. Phillips, Howard Gillis, Avon Gillis and Eddie Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Wingard (Julie) of Soperton, GA and Geena Lindsay of Vidalia, GA; her siblings, Mearlene Hullender and Melvin Phillips of Ringold, GA; and her grandchild Gracelyn Spears. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
