He was predeceased by: his mother Johnnie Mae Thigpen Sharpe; and his sister Anna Marie Sharpe. He is survived by: his father James Sharpe of Soperton, GA; his brothers, Jimmy Sharpe of Vidalia, GA and Donnie Sharpe of Soperton, GA; his aunt Louise Blair of Normantown, GA; his niece Amber Sharpe; and his nephew Jimmy Sharpe Jr..
