She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Scruggs Rountree and Ruby Stalvey Rountree; and her siblings, William Rountree, Neal Rountree, Robert Rountree, Browal Rountree and Vernell Gaskins.

She is survived by : her children, Ricky Young of Adel, Steven Young of Sparks and Melba Moore of Sparks. She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
