He is survived by : his wife Thelma Hazel; his brother James Milo; his children, John Michael, Matthew Henry (Lacy) and Mitiz Lynn (Ernest William Batchelor, Jr.); and his grandchildren, Lisa Renee Batchelor, Stacy Lynn Hammond (Matthew), Will Batchelor, Kristen B. Beasley (Marshall) and Kate Bentley.
