He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Neal, Sr. and Lena O'Neal. He is survived by: his son James Joseph "Joey" Kemp; and his siblings, Henry O'Neal, Sr. (Wanda), Linda Oglesby (James), Joanna Beard (Keith Anderson) and Brenda Graham (Bubba Stafford). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
