He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph Smith, Sr. and Cora Estal Spaulding Smith; his stepson Roger Jason Lord; and his brother Bobby Smith (Judy). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Smith; his sons, Milton Edward Smith, Jr. (Ashley Denice) and Robert Joseph Smith, III (Rose Andrea); his stepchildren, Angela Moore (Henry) and Robert James Lord, Jr.; and his siblings, Mary Bennett (late Charles), Rudy Smith (Pam) and Bill Smith (Melissa). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
