She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Burke and Blanche Burke; her husband Leroy Shackelford; her brother Louis Albert Burke; and her grandson Eric Michael Shackelford.

She is survived by : her sons, Bert Shackelford (Crystal) and Louis Shackelford (Candi); her grandchildren, Josh Shackelford, Ricky Shackelford, Chelsea Shackelford, Presley Shackelford, Roy Shackelford, Chandler Shackelford, Christopher Shackelford, Victoria Shackelford, Laci Crutchfield (Charles), Connor and Oliver Crutchfield; and her sister Sandra Black (Roger). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
