It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Dickey Anderson of Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Kimsey Dickey and Mary Ann Dickey; and her brother David J. Dickey. She is survived by : her husband Gene Anderson; her children, Brad Anderson (Shannon) of Statesboro, Wesley Anderson of Statesboro, Jonathan Anderson of Statesboro and Joanna Soles (Marty) of Statesboro; her grandchildren, Reagan (Hunter Devendorf), Nicholas Anderson, Raylei Nesmith, Grace Bartlett, Trent and Tyler Soles; and her siblings, Victor Dickey (Delores) and Michelle Rogers (Tony). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brooklet First Baptist Church (19163 US-80, Brooklet, GA 30415). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
