Leo Woodcock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Woodcock (Statesboro, Georgia), who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo "Tiny" Woodcock and Lucy Mock Woodcock; and his siblings, Jim, Earl, Donnie and Elsa Dean Woodcock.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Woodcock; his daughter Leona Johnson; his stepchildren, Darlene Buchan (Tommy), Denise Wise, Sissy Carter (Mike), Dean Lucas and Eddie Ferrer; and his sisters, Mary Boyett and Joann Hendrix (Tump). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bulloch Memorial Gardens (22002 US-80, Statesboro, GA 30459).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Ogeechee Area Hospice as it was a cause that Leo deeply believed in supporting.
